The popularity of electric vehicles in India is getting exponentially higher with time. But every EV user concerns about how far their electric cars will travel on a single charge before buying an EV. Last year, the sale of electric automobiles reached 28.86 percent QoQ in Q4 from October to December.

The JMK Research published this latest report which stated that EV companies sold 3,57,248 electric vehicles in the quarter. The majority of these vehicles were electric two-wheelers. India has many electric cars users can drive without worrying about mileage or distance on a single charge. Here is a list of the supreme electric vehicles ruling the Indian market.

Mercedes-Benz EQS

The EQS is an EV product of Mercedes-S class, which comes in the list of the most luxurious cars in the world. The price of the electric vehicle ranges from rupees 1.55 crores to rupees 2.45 crores. The Mercedes-Benz EQS takes an EV charging time corresponding to a ten to eighty percent full charge using a DC fast charging station. It can supply a voltage of 400 volts and a minimum current of 500 Ampere.

The EV covers 677 kilometers on a single charge. It has a sophisticated electric architecture design, including Exclusive materials and innovative trim elements, a Radiator grille with a Mercedes-Benz pattern, and Sublime rear seat comfort. Heading into the future, this EV model can be an example of the best and most comfortable electric vehicles and becoming more intensive with every journey.

BMW i7

The product i7 of the BMW 7 series is an all-electric vehicle. EV drivers can experience great pleasure while driving the car with features like 400 kW giving output that brings power on roads, 544 BHP power capacities, and maximum torque of 745 Nm. The BMW i7 model is free from emissions.

The unique feature of this EV brand is EV users can charge their vehicle on the roads or at home, whether with fast DC chargers or Smart Partner Wallbox with optional service for installation to charge at homes. It is easy, safe, and more efficient. The i7 has a 101.7 kilowatt-per-hour lithium-ion battery and covers a mileage of 591 to 625 kilometers on a single charge.

Tata Nexon EV

Tata Nexon EV registered the highest-selling electric vehicle in India, which hit 74 percent of the total EV sales percentage. The sales reached 286 units and 0.66 percent of total Nexon (ICE & EV) in FY2020. Then this sale of Nexon EV’s share grew to 5.96 percent with 3,805 units in FY2021 out of 63,756 Nexon sales. Then the sale registered 11.18 percent with 13,879 units out of overall Nexon sales of 124,130 units in FY2022.

This growth is considerable because of the attractive and enlightening features of the car. The price of this EV car starts from 14.99 lakhs rupees. The EV has a five-seated feature with an average driving range of 312 kilometers on a single charge.

Kia EV6

The brand Kia first released this EV6 model in India. The brand made the EV model with sustainable materials and vegan leather seats, recycled and durable materials. The EV has a maximum towing capacity of 1600 kilograms. It has a tow ball weight of 100 kilograms, plus a valuable 490-liter boot with a variable-height boot floor. It implies users can choose whether to maximize the room or assemble a flat loading lip.

The model price ranges from 60.95 to 65.95 lakhs rupees despite being a fully imported car. The car can have a maximum range of 528 kilometers. EV6’s advanced battery charges from ten to eighty percent in only 18 minutes. The battery performance is excellent, quicker than other sports cars, and built on a new dedicated EV platform. It guarantees every drive is CO2-free. It can cover a distance of zero to sixty miles per hour in only 3.5 seconds.

Audi e-tron and Porsche Taycan

Both electric vehicles cover a range of 484 kilometers. The price of the Porsche Taycan ranges from rupees 1.53 crores. This price is 50.86 lakhs, costlier than the base model of the Audi e-tron priced at rupees 1.02 crores. The cars share similarities in performance with high-speed variants. They produce a power of 313 BPH and 540 Nm of maximum torque.

The SUV model has a 71-kilowatt battery pack covering a distance of 264 to 379 kilometers. The Sportback has a starting price of rupees 1.70 crores. Porsche will launch seven different variants of cars in the market in India. The Porsche ranges between 1.53 crores to 2.34 crores in Indian rupees. They produce a power of 408 BPH and 1050 Nm of maximum torque. The SUV model has a 72.2-kilowatt battery pack covering a distance of 484 kilometers.
